First Appointment

During the first appointment, we will discuss your specific dental issues and perform tests to determine if you are a good candidate for implants. This generally involves checking to see how much bone volume and density you have in the area of your missing tooth. Next, we make treatment plans based on your lifestyle and needs. Once you are happy with the treatment plan, we proceed with further diagnostic and planning procedures. These typically include studio photographs, digital impressions and a CBCT radiograph.

Second Appointment

The second appointment involves placing the implant. A straightforward implant case may be performed in under 20 minutes, but more complex cases may require 1 to 4 hours. The complexity depends on the number of implants that need placing and the extent of augmentation or reduction surgery. We understand that a positive experience sometimes depends less on the physical procedure than it does on managing the emotional stress. This is why we provide a wide range of anaesthetic options and a spa-like environment to put you at ease.

Third Appointment

The third appointment is usually booked 6 to 12 weeks after dental implant placement. We conduct a test to make sure that your dental implant has fused properly. If we are restoring a straightforward single dental implant, your final crown or bridge will be manufactured and fitted on this day. More complex cases involve impressions and further steps in planning the final prosthesis.

Additional appointments

Complex cases often involve a longer prosthetic healing and planning phase. Our goal during additional appointments is to create a functional temporary prosthesis before converting it to a final product.
