Dr Saijal Hariparsad Tularam is deeply passionate about helping people, which is why dentistry came to her so naturally. The ability to transform a patient's smile and watch them blossom with self-esteem and confidence is the reason she dedicates her life to the craft.
After completing her secondary education at Danville Park Girls' High School, she followed her heart and decided to study dentistry at the University of the Western Cape, where she also completed her postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry.
Saijal enjoys working with children, and she has the innate ability to put them at ease during complex dental treatments. They find her presence comforting, and her demeanour reassuring, so her younger patients enjoy their time at the dentist's office. She also enjoys working with the elderly and works hard to ensure they feel understood and appreciated.
A self-pronounced perfectionist, Saijal is constantly learning and growing as a dentist. Her dedication to the craft has pushed her to pursue additional qualifications and training in advanced dentistry,
Dental surgery, aesthetic dentistry, Invisalign, laser dentistry and CEREC dentistry. She has travelled across continents to train with world-renowned specialists, clinicians and companies - all to ensure that every single patient she sees receives the highest level of care possible.
When she isn't at the practice, Saijal enjoys spending time with her family. She loves curling up with a good book and baking delicious treats for her loved ones.
